We were honored to welcome Mr. Paul Soltis, Interpretive Specialist with the New Jersey State Park Service for the Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage, as part of our ElevatEd Guest Lecture Program.
Mr. Soltis delivered an energetic and engaging presentation to our Upper School students, exploring the history, architecture, restoration, and significance of the Old Dutch Parsonage and Wallace House. Smiles, joy, and wonder were on full display as students worked to model the 35-foot circumference of the oak that once stood on the property!
This special lecture, part of our Upper School art and history program, marks the beginning of an exciting partnership on our journey toward becoming recognized as a RevolutionNJ School for our commitment to teaching history—especially American history—on the road to America’s 250th birthday.
We are deeply grateful to Mr. Soltis for sharing his expertise and passion. We look forward to continuing this partnership and visiting these historic sites with sketchbooks in hand!
