We are delighted to share joyful news and mark a moment of great significance in the life of St. Ann Classical Academy as we celebrate both a remarkable academic achievement and an exciting leadership transition.
Congratulations to Mrs. Courtney Ceponis, who recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Seton Hall University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy. This outstanding accomplishment reflects her unwavering commitment to academic excellence, servant leadership, and the flourishing of Catholic classical education.
Mrs. Ceponis has faithfully served our school community in numerous roles—most recently as Marketing and Enrollment Coordinator, Upper Elementary Teacher, and mentor to faculty. Her dedication to nurturing students in both faith and reason, and her tireless efforts to support families and staff alike, have made a profound impact. As she prepares to step into her new role as Head of School beginning July 1, 2025, we look forward with confidence and deep gratitude to the future of our academy under her leadership.
As we look ahead, we are especially grateful for the continued partnership of Mrs. Marisa Day, who will be stepping into the role of Academic Dean of Classical Instruction. This important position reflects our growth into an established classical school and will allow her to further share her many gifts in curriculum development, pedagogy, and faculty support. Her deep love for classical learning, her servant-hearted leadership, and her steadfast commitment to our mission have been—and will remain—a tremendous blessing to our community.
This moment also marks a new chapter in the ongoing story of St. Ann Classical Academy, as we prepare to celebrate our 60th anniversary and our seventh year as a classical Catholic school. We are deeply grateful to Mrs. Day for the vision and stewardship that have brought us to this moment and for ensuring a smooth and thoughtful leadership transition.
We invite all families, friends, and supporters to read the letters written and shared by Mrs. Day and Mrs. Ceponis regarding this transition:
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Ceponis on her academic milestone and in offering prayers of gratitude for Mrs. Day for all she has accomplished as Head of School in service to St. Ann Classical Academy.
St. Ann, pray for us. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
