First Grade and Ancient Greece

As part of their History studies, our First Grade students explored the Minoan culture through hands-on learning. Using sand play, they shaped the terrain, then watched as the volcano in Thera erupted with “ash and smoke”! Finally, they sailed away in boats to escape the damage!
