This week, our 7th and 8th graders engaged in a series of hands-on science lessons with Mr. Cirillo—investigating the soil right here on our campus and studying how the Grand Canyon was formed over time through water, wind, and the power of God’s creation.
Rooted in the classical tradition, these lessons invite students to observe the natural world with a sense of awe, ask meaningful questions, and seek the order and beauty within creation. In doing so, our students are not just learning science—they’re participating in a centuries-old dialogue between faith and reason, becoming thoughtful scholars who see God’s handiwork in every layer of the earth.
Kudos to our Upper School students for their curiosity and engagement, and to Mr. Cirillo for leading these rich, mission-driven experiences!
