Our Upper School students recently visited the Old Dutch Parsonage, engaging in a unique educational experience that brought together History and Visual Arts in the spirit of the classical liberal arts.
As a RevolutionNJ School in partnership with NJ Parks, students traveled by NJ Transit to this historic site, where they practiced on-site architectural sketching and explored New Jersey’s heritage. This integrative approach exemplifies how classical education forms both intellect and imagination.
We are deeply grateful to Mr. Paul Soltis for his generous hospitality and expert guidance, and to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office for accompanying us and ensuring a safe and smooth trip.
Joyful experiences like this deepen learning, strengthen community, and connect students to the richness of our shared history.
