Recently, our 6th–8th grade students embarked on a powerful Pilgrimage for the Jubilee Year of Hope—a day filled with grace, reflection, and deep encounters with Christ.
After beginning with Mass and Confession, our pilgrims journeyed on foot through the streets of Raritan, New Jersey, lifting their voices in prayer and song. They visited several sacred sites, each one drawing them deeper into the mystery of our faith:
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where Mr. Rulloda shared a moving witness talk to strengthen and encourage our students on their walk with the Lord.
The Shrine Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, an official Jubilee pilgrimage site, where they entered through the Holy Door, prayed in Adoration, and fulfilled the spiritual requirements for the Jubilee indulgence.
The day culminated in a reverent procession through our school, as Fr. Steven carried the Relic of the True Cross, blessing each hallway, classroom, student, and family.
This pilgrimage was more than a walk—it was a living lesson in Catholic identity, sacramental life, and the communion of saints. It beautifully echoes our mission to form students who seek truth, beauty, and goodness, and who are grounded in the life of Christ.
With heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Cirillo for organizing this extraordinary day, and to Fr. Steven, Mr. Rulloda, and all who helped make this opportunity possible. What a blessed time to be a St. Ann student!
